Acer and eBikeGo launch new electric two-wheeler in India, Energy News, ET EnergyWorld


Acer, a Taiwan-based multinational technology corporation, has partnered with India‘s electric mobility platform eBikeGo to unveil the Acer MUVI-125-4G, an electric two-wheeler targeted at urban commuters. This marks the first electric vehicle model introduced under Acer’s brand in the Indian market.

The MUVI-125-4G will be designed and manufactured by eBikeGo, known for their efforts in promoting sustainable urban mobility in India, under a licensing agreement with Acer Incorporated.

Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, remarked on the launch, stating the product represents a positive movement towards sustainable transportation solutions. He highlighted the role of companies like eBikeGo in advancing India’s mission for cleaner transportation.

The MUVI-125-4G, developed using European technology, features swappable batteries, a lightweight frame, 16-inch wheels, and a data-driven design. It also has customizable features, can reach speeds up to 75 kmph, and has a maximum range of 80 km.

There are plans for the release of additional two and three-wheeler electric vehicles in the future.
