Citroen C3X Spy Shots Leaked Ahead of Official Launch, Check Details

Citroen C3X, which is expected to launch very soon, will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine.

After successfully introducing the feature-loaded SUV C3 Aircross in India, the French car manufacturer gearing up to drop another vehicle in the market. But, this time, the company plans to launch a crossover sedan named Citroen C3X, which will be based on based CMP platform.

Ahead of the official release, the vehicle was spotted in Europe, fully covered in camouflage during the testing phase. The leaked images revealed most of its design elements and key features. However, the company has not shared any official details about the vehicle as yet.

Citroen C3X Design

Talking about the front fascia first, leaked images suggested that the upcoming C3X might carry some of the design elements from the newly unveiled Citroen C3 including LED headlight setup, LED taillight, and similar DRLs as C3 across.  However, the vehicle is also expected to carry its own aura, which might force the customers to put it on their priority list.

When it comes to the side and rear profile, again, it resembles from newly unveiled C3. But, the upcoming crossover sedan is expected to feature heavy cladding, bigger slopping roof rails, and body colour door handles with slight chrome work on them.

Citroen C3X Powerstrain

It has been reported that Citroen C3X, which is expected to launch very soon, will be powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. The unit will generate a max power of 108 bhp and and 190 Nm of peak. The power source department will be mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Again, it would be better if the customers do not expect the diesel engine option in the upcoming four-wheeler too. The official details about the same is yet to be shared by the Citroen.
